A touch of black
And a touch of white
Now go and fight

We are but two shades
Of the waiting bride
Now choose your side

Never have I felt a friend and a foe to the ones that I love
And as I carry on I feel I’m fighting like I’m on my own

Blurring, when one body splits in two
I split too
Blurring, the whole cannot function as one
It’s all still unclear
And I emerge a messy grey

Fall not into the snare of the crazy people
Their gifts and prophecies are in vain
How do they cast demons if they seem to have them
They must be insane
In the end, the Lord will not know your names

Stuck up, legalistic, fundamental snobbery
Step down from your pedestal and learn to love
Have you any hearts, can you feel nothing
From up above?
Hold still, the plank in your eye is rather large

I am the Grey Knight who fights for the Word I may not comprehend
Tight as a rope I am pulled in both ways to protect either end
And in the end when I’ll kneel at the throne I’ll remember to ask if my renegade ways are of favor in His holy eyes
